Interra integrates all air conditioner brands into smart buildings with TUBITAK & INTERRA R&D collaboration.
Interra announced that it has included 4 new brands in the KNX / Air Conditioning Gateways R&D project, which was developed with the cooperation of TUBITAK and 100% Turkish engineering at Interra's R&D center in Istanbul.
Medeni Kahraman, CEO of Interra Teknoloji AŞ, announced that the R&D projects will be completed in a short time and said, "Thanks to Interra's Tubitak cooperation, the KNX Air Conditioning Gateway project which started with brands such as Mitsubishi and Daikin continues with the brands like Samsung, LG, and Arçelik without any slowing down."
Our KNX / AC gateways have managed to attract a lot of attention around the world in a very short time with their technological features and price performance. Thanks to this interest, we were able to position Interra as a world-class KNX air conditioner gateway manufacturer brand. With the excitement of this success, we are proud to announce that we have increased the number of air conditioner gateways to 15 by adding 4 more brands to meet the demands as a result of the feedback we have received from the global and local markets.
"Currently, the final tests of our R&D projects specific to Viessmann, Gree, Vaillant, and DemirDöküm air conditioners are being carried out and mass production will begin very soon. I would also like to state that our new projects have started for Midea and Toshiba brands. Our air conditioning gateway projects will continue with different brands and we will make Interra a brand that can integrate every air conditioner brand worldwide into KNX.” he said.
He states that thanks to the testing of KNX air conditioner gateway projects in cooperation with brands, most air conditioner brands make approved sales of Interra products in international markets. Stating that Interra focuses on creating a complete solution in KNX smart building systems with a single brand, Medeni Kahraman states that R&D studies will continue non-stop to increase the product range.
